Our Pastors

Pastor Dale Brown is originally from Michigan, USA. At seventeen years of age, Dale admitted that he was a sinner, believed that Jesus died for his sins, and confessed his sins and accepted God’s free gift of salvation.

After attending the University of Michigan for three years pursuing a criminal justice degree, the Lord directed Pastor Dale into full-time ministry. He is a graduate of Arlington Baptist College in Texas.

In 1981, Pastor Dale and Janet were married. They have three boys, Josh, Nate, and Micah, and shifted to New Zealand in 1991. In 2003, Pastor Dale founded Community Baptist Church, which is the result of the merger of North City Baptist Church-Porirua and Bible Baptist Church – Karori, Pastor Brian Powers.

Pastor Dale loves nothing more than to preach the Gospel so that others may have the opportunity to have a personal relationship with Christ.

Pastor Tim Guenther was saved at the age of 12. In 2003, he married the love of his life, Joy. He felt the call to preach and they both attended Bible College.

After graduating from Bible College, they moved to Lancaster, Ohio, where he served on staff at Bible Baptist Church.

Later, Pastor Tim felt the call to come to New Zealand to help with planting churches.

They both have been involved in many ministries within the church. He and his wife, Joy, have four children: Isaac, Ethan, Landon, and Kayleigh. They moved to New Zealand from the USA in May 2016.
